Death Stranding 2: Kojima Teases Release Date Announcement for On the Beach in 2024

Kojima Productions has made several exciting announcements about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach during this year’s Tokyo Game Show, including details on the Photo Mode, new scenes, and character reveals. However, fans are eagerly awaiting news about the game’s release date.

While the game is set to launch in 2025, there is no specific date confirmed yet. Director Hideo Kojima elaborated on this topic (as reported by @Okami13_), stating that the release date is established, and the team is diligently working towards it. He emphasized the 2025 launch window and mentioned that an official release date announcement will be made next year. Kojima explained that the reason for not announcing the date during the Special State at TGS was due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be available exclusively for PS5 at launch.
