Although Death Stranding 2: On the Beach did not showcase detailed exploration or combat gameplay, Kojima Productions introduced an exciting feature: Photo Mode. Using a Polaroid camera, players can engage in a photo shoot with the Drawbridge members.
While it remains uncertain if there will be fixed poses and expressions, characters such as Rainy, Tomorrow, and Fragile will be able to move and interact as you capture images. The beloved Cryptobiote also makes a comeback, this time as a plush toy, and players can include Sam in the frame for memorable shots. Various settings, including the locker room, hallway stairs, and hangar, are highlighted as potential photography locations.
More information about filters, exposure settings, and additional features is still awaited, but it has been confirmed that players can toggle a flash and adjust zoom levels and angles while taking photographs. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to launch in 2025 for PS5, with a specific release date yet to be announced. Be sure to check out the latest footage featuring Drawbridge’s members, including a closer look at Tarman and Dollman.
