Destiny 2 Weekly Reset Highlights: Latest Nightfall Activities, Challenges, and Earned Rewards

Updated December 10, 2024: A new week is upon us in Destiny 2, heralding the reset of missions, challenges, and rewards. This week is particularly significant as it marks the return of The Dawning, the festive holiday event that rekindles the joyous tradition of cookie baking. This year, players are invited to participate in a community baking challenge to unlock three exclusive emblems.

This week’s reset comes alongside a fresh update that addresses a much-anticipated issue regarding the Tomb of Elders tonics, which previously misapplied a drop boosting effect. Bungie remains actively engaged in resolving other ongoing issues, such as balancing a problematic exotic item and adjusting a Titan subclass that is currently outperforming expectations.

Near Orbit: Generate 200 Orbs of Power in Episode: Revenant activities
Trial by Firing Squad: Win 20 rounds in the Trials of Osiris
Mid-Range Calibration: Calibrate mid-range weapons (Hand Cannons, Glaives, Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, and Machine Guns). Bonus progress is awarded for defeating Guardians.

Exotic Mission Rotation

Bungie has reintroduced several exotic missions for players to enjoy, unlocking new rewards and craftable exotic weapons through weekly rotations akin to the Raid and Dungeon rotations.
