This weekend marks the return of Xur in Destiny 2, presenting an exciting selection of exotic and legendary gear for players to explore. As the Dawning event enters its second week, Guardians are busy baking cookies for various NPCs while progressing through the ongoing community challenge that aims to unlock three exclusive emblems through cookie contributions.
Despite Episode Revenant currently experiencing a downtime between its acts, Bungie has provided players with insights into the remainder of 2024, revealing plans for a new Dungeon slated for February, alongside the launch of Act 3 and the second Iron Banner event in January. Additionally, players can anticipate significant changes to some exotic weapons, including a nerf to the favored Graviton Lance pulse rifle.
In the meantime, weekend merchant Xur returns, stocked with a fresh inventory for Destiny 2 fans.
Location of Xur
Xur has established a consistent presence in the Bazaar area of The Tower, eliminating the need for players to search for him every weekend.
Situated conveniently between two fast travel points, players can easily navigate to the Bazaar. To find Xur, head towards the section where Ikora and Hawthorne are located and look for the Ramen Shop at the back wall. Xur waits in the adjacent alley on the right.
Class Armor and Exotic Cipher from Xur
Xur’s inventory includes the usual assortment of weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Completing these quests not only enables the purchase of a second fated engram but also allows access to legacy exotic gear via the Tower kiosk. Players can earn an Exotic Cipher by engaging in strikes and succeeding in Crucible or Gambit matches, with extra points awarded for teaming up with clan members or tackling more challenging content.
