Overview
- Xur, the exotic merchant in Destiny 2, has returned with a fresh selection of gear and unique items.
- This week’s weapons include legendary options alongside the Riskrunner, The Prospector, Hawkmoon, and Arbalest.
- Xur’s exotic armor offerings feature The Sixth Coyote, An Insurmountable Skullfort, and Astrocyte Verse.
Destiny 2 welcomes back Xur, bringing with him a variety of exotic and legendary gear available for a limited time. As the holiday event, The Dawning, continues, players are facing a number of bugs and gameplay challenges this year.
Despite the obstacles present during The Dawning and throughout Episode Revenant, Bungie remains committed to resolving these issues. The developer has addressed several major bugs, thanks to community feedback, and recently released an update that fixes tonic-related problems. It also corrected unintended excess damage from Sentinel Titan abilities.
This weekend, Xur’s extensive inventory presents new options for Destiny 2 players to explore.
Where Can Players Find Xur?
Xur has established a permanent location within the Bazaar area at The Tower, eliminating the need for the weekend search he previously required.
Players can access the Bazaar via either fast travel point located centrally. Move towards the space where Ikora and Hawthorne are present, and locate the Ramen Shop against the back wall. From there, head into the right alley where Xur awaits.
Acquiring Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
This week, Xur continues to provide the standard weekly quests, exotic gear, and legendary items. Completing these quests is vital for purchasing a second fated engram and obtaining legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can acquire a new cipher by successfully completing strikes, and participating in Crucible or Gambit matches, receiving bonus points for teaming up with clan members or tackling challenging activities.
