The cancellation was not due to logistical issues; rather, he was concerned about the potential of rain causing his hair to look unkempt. These anonymous individuals also stated, “Why would I visit that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

The incriminating article by The Atlantic also reveals additional controversial statements Trump allegedly made about fallen service members. For instance, during Memorial Day 2017, he asked, “What was it for them?” while speaking to John Kelly, whose son died in Afghanistan in 2010.
