Donald Trump’s 15-Minute McDonald’s Visit Ignites E.coli Outbreak Jokes

Shares of McDonald’s have seen a decline due to a connection with a recent E. Coli outbreak. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed that the onions used in their Quarter Pounder burgers may be tainted, and despite the company’s efforts to manage the situation, it’s a bit too late to prevent fallout.

Tragically, one individual has already succumbed to the illness among the 49 reported cases. While the incident itself is serious, social media users have found a darkly humorous twist—this outbreak coincides with Donald Trump’s recent publicity stunt at a McDonald’s.

The former president and convicted felon pretended to work at a McDonald’s in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, this week, allegedly inspired by Vice President Kamala Harris’s previous employment at a McDonald’s—a claim that his supporters often argue is inaccurate, despite a lack of evidence. Trump handing out fries was about what one might expect from him: nonsensical, disjointed, and staged. All the “customers” were pre-selected, and the restaurant was shut down during this event.

Moreover, the situation was rather unsanitary as Trump failed to wear a hairnet. (What else could we expect from someone who stares at solar eclipses?) Now, humor has arisen linking him to the E. Coli scare.

Interestingly, the E. Coli outbreak can be indirectly tied to Trump, though not in the way you might think. His administration dismantled many safety regulations, including crucial guidelines surrounding meat production and distribution. Such outbreaks are unavoidable under these circumstances. Ironically, Trump, despite his fondness for McDonald’s, is not the one facing health risks. But even if he were affected, it’s doubtful he would connect his policies to public health issues. His focus remains on power and superficial publicity stunts.
