The studio is enriched by a team of other seasoned developers including art director Bartlomiej Gawel, animation director Tamara Zawada, and narrative director Jakub Szamalek. The announcement of the game, initially named Dawnwalker, occurred in January 2024.

In November 2024, Bandai Namco released a short promotional video confirming that the game’s complete title is The Blood of Dawnwalker. This teaser concluded with the announcement of its live-streamed reveal event on January 13, at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 10 PM CET. This reveal promises to kick off 2025 on an exciting note for Bandai Namco, aligning with an increasing number of game launches scheduled for early next year.
