Kim Seokjin, a member of the globally acclaimed K-pop group BTS, made a stunning appearance at the 2024 Milan Fashion Week on September 20, 2024. Serving as the global ambassador for Gucci, the Grammy-nominated artist was spotted seated alongside Francois-Henri Pinault—CEO and chairman of the Kering Group, which owns Gucci—and renowned actress Dakota Johnson.

It’s noteworthy that the Kering Group also manages several prestigious luxury brands, including Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Creed, and Alexander McQueen. Fans expressed immense pride in witnessing the BTS star seated next to high-profile figures like Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue and chief content officer of Condé Nast.

The BTS ARMY affectionately referred to Jin as a “prince,”marveling at the royal treatment he received during Milan Fashion Week.

The 31-year-old singer completed his mandatory military service in the Republic of Korea Army from December 13, 2022, to June 12, 2024. Following his enlistment, he was appointed as the global ambassador for two major luxury brands—FRED and Gucci.

In addition to his musical talents and international fame, Kim Seokjin is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts. In December 2018, to celebrate his birthday, the singer-songwriter donated food, blankets, and other supplies to the Korean Animal Welfare Association.

Moreover, he contributed 321 kg of food to Korea Animal Rights Advocates (KARA), another non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. His group, BTS, raised over $1.4 million through the “Love Myself”campaign in partnership with UNICEF to combat violence against children, as recently as November 2018.

The Moon singing star has been a consistent monthly donor to UNICEF Korea since May 2018; however, his donations remained anonymous until he was inducted into the UNICEF Honors Club in May 2019 for contributing over KRW 100 million (around $84,000).
