In the enchanting world of Final Fantasy 14, the crafting and gathering systems have steadily carved out a passionate niche within the player community. While combat remains central to gameplay, the intricate crafting mechanics, introduced during the launch of A Realm Reborn, have significantly enhanced the gaming experience. Not only do these systems offer players a chance to engage in creative pursuits, but they also allow for monetary gain within the game’s thriving marketplace. With each expansion, such as the latest addition, Dawntrail, Square Enix continues to enrich the crafting and gathering experience, providing fresh avenues for players to explore.
This article delves into **Custom Deliveries**—an increasingly popular feature that newcomers and seasoned players alike can utilize. The latest update introduces players to Nitowikwe’s Custom Delivery questline in the Tural region, where interactions with this Shaaloani-based Hrothgar await. For those interested in contributing to this venture, here’s what you need to know.
How to Complete Nitowikwe Custom Deliveries in Final Fantasy 14
The introduction of Nitowikwe, as the primary patron for custom deliveries in Dawntrail, marks an exciting milestone for players. To kick off the questline, players must fulfill a few prerequisites:
- Achieve Level 90 or above in any crafting (Disciple of the Hand) or gathering (Disciple of the Land) class.
- Complete the Dawntrail main scenario quest titled “The Warmth of Family”as well as the Level 60 sidequest “Go West, Craftsman”found in Mor Dhona.
After preparing your class, head to Tuliyollal and locate the Railroad Employee NPC, situated just downstairs from the main aetheryte (coordinates: X:14.1, Y:12.1). Initiate the Level 90 quest “Laying New Tracks” here. This quest sends you to the arid landscapes of Shaaloani, where you will meet a Hrothgar named Wawlika embroiled in a discussion with Nitowikwe regarding the area’s railroad development. Unfortunately, they are facing shortages in both supplies and workforce, and your character is ideally positioned to assist.
As you progress through the quest, Nitowikwe will introduce you to two vendors that you will frequently visit for your weekly deliveries. This mechanic follows the standard structure of custom delivery questlines prevalent throughout the game. Upon completion of the initial quest, Nitowikwe will officially unlock custom deliveries for your character, enabling you to fulfill her crafting and gathering requests right away.
Players should note that they can submit a maximum of six deliveries each week, with the cycle resetting every Tuesday. Additionally, you’re free to switch between different crafting or gathering classes for these deliveries, which is actually recommended as it provides a swift means of leveling up your DoH (Disciple of the Hand) and DoL (Disciple of the Land) classes.
As you consistently complete customs deliveries, your satisfaction rating with Nitowikwe will improve, with five ranks available to achieve based on your contributions. Reaching the highest rank rewards players with a stylish Western gunslinger-themed outfit, a desirable item for fans of that particular glam aesthetic. So, if this outfit piques your interest, it’s time to gather your crafting and gathering tools and start fulfilling those requests!
