The Football Manager series continues to strengthen its legacy with each new release, and the latest installment has been officially revealed with a confirmed launch date. Sega and developer Sports Interactive have announced Football Manager 25, which will transition to the Unity engine. Sports Interactive has described this release as “year one of the new era for football management” and highlighted it as “the series’ most significant technical and visual enhancement in a generation.”
This substantial update will feature a redesigned user interface, the introduction of women’s football, and “more visually impressive” matchday experiences. Additionally, the tactical settings have been revamped to align more closely with the cutting-edge practices of the professional game. Sports Interactive promises a fresh approach to creating a new manager, enabling players to enjoy “more customized, unique stories.”
Football Manager 25 will also introduce a groundbreaking feature that allows players to transfer their saved games from last year’s version across all platforms, marking a significant first for mobile gamers.
The highly anticipated Football Manager 25 will be released on November 26 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, iOS, and Android. It will then become available for Nintendo Switch on December 3.
