Fortnite Guide: Unlocking Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper OG Skins

Since its introduction seven years ago, Fortnite has evolved tremendously, preserving certain skins as badges of honor for its early adopters and dedicated players. In a special event during Chapter 6 Season 1, gamers have the opportunity to acquire the Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper skins, celebrating the festive season, the nostalgic return to Fortnite’s Chapter 1, and the game’s anniversary.

Acquiring the Aerial Assault Trooper in Fortnite

To secure the Aerial Assault Trooper, players must earn a cumulative total of 1,000,000 XP, which is approximately equivalent to 13.5 Battle Pass levels. This XP accumulation will be active starting from December 19, 7 PM ET. After reaching the XP threshold, players can purchase the Aerial Assault Trooper skin in the OG Season Shop for 1,200 V-Bucks.

This skin arrives in its original style, giving players a chance to relive the nostalgia of Season 1. Additionally, there’s an option to acquire Aerial Assault One, the associated glider, for 500 V-Bucks once players earn 500,000 XP, which is about 6 Battle Pass levels.

Notably, players who acquire either the Renegade Raider, Aerial Assault Trooper, or their respective pickaxes and gliders will be rewarded with an exclusive new style in Spring 2025.

Acquiring the Renegade Raider in Fortnite

To unlock the Renegade Raider, players need to collect 1,500,000 XP, which becomes trackable from December 19, 7 PM ET. This amounts to roughly 19 levels in the Battle Pass and can be achieved through daily quests and gameplay across Fortnite’s various modes.

The Renegade Raider is one of Fortnite’s most coveted skins, known for its rarity. Players can enjoy this classic skin, which will also come with a LEGO style option and a unique Checkered variation.

Players can additionally obtain the complimentary pickaxe, Raider’s Revenge, for 1,500 V-Bucks upon reaching 2,000,000 XP, translating to about 25 Battle Pass levels.

Similar to the Aerial Assault Trooper, those who purchase Renegade Raider or its accompanying items will receive an exclusive style in Spring 2025.
