Fortnite Reintroduces Dragon Ball Skins, But There’s a Catch

Overview of Fortnite’s Cosmetic Offerings

  • Players are now able to remotely purchase Fortnite cosmetics, including popular Dragon Ball skins, via the Epic Games Webshop.

Since its launch, Fortnite has expanded its catalog of cosmetic items significantly. Initially, the game featured various skins, pickaxes, emotes, and gliders. However, with each update, Epic Games has introduced an array of new cosmetic types, including packs, jam tracks, wraps, and kicks, leading to a substantial increase in the total number of skins available for players.

Fortnite’s rising popularity has attracted collaborations with renowned brands and franchises, further enriching its in-game shop offerings. This trend has not only diversified the cosmetic options for players but also enhanced the overall gaming experience.

Despite the anticipation surrounding new items, a recent glitch on December 31 at 7 PM ET prevented players from accessing the new Dragon Ball cosmetics in the shop. Due to an oversight by Epic Games, the Dragon Ball section remained hidden, which meant players could only reach these skins through direct links to their webshop pages.

Acquiring Dragon Ball Skins in Fortnite

In August 2024, Epic Games launched the feature that allows players to purchase Fortnite cosmetics remotely through the official Webshop. To utilize this option, players simply need to log in to their Epic Games account via a web browser and can proceed with buying any cosmetic item that catches their interest.
