In an impressive feat, the game attracted an astonishing 50 million players within just 48 hours of launching in July, maintaining strong engagement and growth in subsequent months. Although the game secured nominations for two key awards, it did not triumph in either category.
During the recent 2024 Game Awards, Zenless Zone Zero received significant attention. It was a finalist for the “Best Mobile Game”and the “Player’s Voice”awards. Despite the honor of being nominated, the game ultimately did not secure a win; the award for Best Mobile Game went to Balatro, while Black Myth: Wukong took home the Player’s Voice title. Nonetheless, this recognition boosts community engagement as fans eagerly anticipate their rewards.
The announcement of the rewards came via HoYoverse’s official social channels. Starting with the launch of Version 1.4 on December 18, players can claim their 800 free Polychromes. This offer applies to all players of Zenless Zone Zero and will be accessible through the in-game mail system until January 25, 2024. However, players must be diligent, as the rewards will expire 30 days after they are received in-game.
