His shields don’t just protect; they also debuff nearby enemies, enhancing team damage output. With the introduction of new characters in the game, Zhongli’s versatility has been further amplified, allowing him to fit into diverse teams effectively.
1 Zhongli + Neuvillette + Furina + Xilonen
This combination guarantees exceptional DPS capabilities. Furina significantly boosts damage through her Elemental Burst, provided the team meets certain conditions, resulting in synergistic effects with Neuvillette. The Hydro Dragon can also optimize Furina’s Fanfare points, maximizing her damage output.
Meanwhile, Xilonen enhances Neuvillette’s performance further by applying enemy debuffs and triggering the Geo Resonance with Zhongli, which adds a substantial 15% damage increase. Given Neuvillette’s need for uninterrupted attacks, Zhongli’s shielding proves essential, ensuring smooth and continuous damage output while reducing the enemies’ resistances.

To achieve maximum damage output, Ganyu must trigger the Melt reaction repeatedly, which requires a reliable Pyro unit like Xiangling.
