Key Highlights
- Recent leaks from Genshin Impact suggest the emergence of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai in the upcoming Version 6.0.
- The division of Snezhnaya into distinct regions may be a strategic move by HoYoverse to accommodate its expansive size, indicating future expansions in upcoming updates.
The anticipation surrounding Genshin Impact continues to grow as a recent beta leak potentially uncovers the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both set to be introduced in Version 6.0. Although development in Natlan is ongoing, recent beta updates have begun revealing placeholders for Snezhnaya, known as the long-anticipated Nation of Cryo, and the realm governed by Tsaritsa. Initial assessments suggest that Snezhnaya will surpass previous regions like Sumeru and Liyue in scale, extending from Natlan in the west and enveloping Fontaine to the north.
While earlier leaks indicated that Nod-Krai might function as an independent area in Version 6.0, recent datamining findings have clarified its geographical context. Reports from Liben highlight that Nod-Krai is positioned at the southernmost edge of Snezhnaya, hinting that players will likely access this region from either Fontaine or Natlan.
According to sources including Leakflow and Extra, alongside footage provided by The_Strifemaster, the latest beta version (5.4) has introduced a placeholder landmass situated beneath the western waterfalls of Fontaine. This landmass appears interconnected with Mont Esus, which has been speculated as a possible expansion for the Fontaine area in Genshin Impact. While this does not guarantee a release of Mont Esus concurrent with Version 6.0, indications strongly favor the advent of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
Exploring Nod-Krai in Genshin Impact
Nod-Krai is a significant city and region located within the southern boundaries of Snezhnaya. Despite the presence of the Voynich Guild, which attempts to establish order, Nod-Krai has garnered a reputation as a tumultuous province. It serves as a stronghold for the Fatui, notably led by Dottore, a prominent character among the Harbingers in Genshin Impact. Nasha Town, another key settlement within Nod-Krai, is home to inhabitants believed to possess powers predating the seven Elements of Teyvat.
The decision to split Snezhnaya into multiple regions may stir up debate; however, given the sheer size of Snezhnaya, this approach appears necessary from both a story and development perspective. With the Archon Quest in Natlan nearing completion in Version 5.3, players can anticipate gradual developments leading up to Snezhnaya in future patches. Notably, while the fate of Capitano remains unclear, Natlan will see the introduction of Skirk as a playable character, whose backstory ties her to one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri’ah. Barring any delays, Version 6.0 is projected to launch on September 10, 2025.
