GFRIEND Celebrates 10 Years with Exciting Reunion Plans
The K-pop community is buzzing with excitement following GFRIEND’s recent announcement regarding their upcoming group activities. This revelation marks a significant moment for the beloved girl group as they prepare to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
New Projects and Special Album Release
On December 2, GFRIEND officially unveiled a teaser for their highly anticipated reunion through a captivating clip titled “Season of Memories.” The video features the nostalgic sounds of their classic hit, “Me Gustas Tu,” setting the stage for what fans can expect. Exciting details emerged, indicating that the group will release a pre-release track on January 6, 2025, at 12 PM KST, followed by a full album set to launch on January 13, 2025, at 6 PM KST.
This upcoming album will be GFRIEND’s first release in four years, following their last project, “Walpurgis Night,” which featured the title track “MAGO” in November 2020.
10th Anniversary Concert Announcement
In addition to the new music, GFRIEND has also announced a special concert to commemorate their decade-long journey. A teaser poster, showcasing all six members—Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji—depicts them enchanting a snowy landscape, embodying the elegance and magic of their performance.
The concert is scheduled to take place at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, with shows on January 18, 2025, at 6 PM KST, and continuing on January 19, 2025, at 5 PM KST.
