Notable insider **Tez2** reported on X following the update’s rollout that Rockstar Games accidentally included a metadata file hinting at a potential **GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced version** or a similar option arriving on PC shortly.
The Upcoming GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced Version for PC: A Work in Progress
According to Tez2’s findings on X, the metadata discovered in the recent GTA 5 update suggests that the developer has been crafting a **”Gen9 version of #GTAV for PC” ** since earlier this year. This aligns with the **Expanded and Enhanced editions** currently available on the **Xbox Series X/S** and **PS5**.
