GTA 6 Developers Reach Out to Kai Cenat for Exclusive TwitchCon Meeting

The TwitchCon event is currently taking place in California, and the developers behind GTA 6 seem to be holding a private meeting there. Popular streamer Kai Cenat shared during a recent livestream that Rockstar Games followed him on X (formerly Twitter) and even sent him a message inviting him to meet during the ongoing TwitchCon 2024. His reaction was priceless as he expressed disbelief that the developers of the highly anticipated GTA 6 video game wanted to connect with him.

The community team from Rockstar also praised the streamer for his engaging playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2.

GTA 6 Developers Invite Kai Cenat to Meet at TwitchCon: Full Message

As shown in the clip above, during a live session, Kai Cenat checked his X account and discovered that GTA 6 developer Rockstar Games follows him. After a few moments, he found a message from Rockstar that had been sent to him on September 18, 2024:

“Hey Kai, We wanted to let you know that a few of us from the Rockstar Community Team will be visiting TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego this week, September 20-22.”

The message continued by acknowledging Cenat’s recent playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2:

“We enjoyed watching your playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 and would love to introduce ourselves. If you’re planning to be at the event, please let us know. All the best, The Rockstar Games Community Team.”

TwitchCon is a semi-annual convention that celebrates the culture surrounding esports, live streaming, and more.

Fans should keep in mind that while this meeting with Rockstar does not necessarily indicate that exclusive GTA 6 footage will be shown, it is possible that the developers may discuss the upcoming game in detail.

Although there were earlier rumors suggesting a GTA 6 delay until 2026, these speculations were addressed by Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive. In a recent annual report, Take-Two confirmed its intention to release the game within the previously announced timeframe of 2025.

As of September 22, 2024, the GTA 6 release date remains scheduled for fall 2025, and fans can expect to hear more relevant updates from the developers very soon. A second trailer for the game is highly anticipated later this year.
