This winter season, GTA Online brings back its snowy charm, transforming Los Santos into a thrilling winter wonderland. Players can take advantage of the snowy landscape, from gliding on icy roads to capturing breathtaking views atop Mount Chiliad. Among the most exciting features of this seasonal update is the ability to engage in snowball fights.
For a limited time each year, the game allows players to experience the chaos and fun of snowball combat. If you’ve never played during this magical festive period, you might be wondering how to pick up and throw snowballs. Fear not; this guide will walk you through the process.
How to Pick Up Snowballs
To gather snowballs effectively, players must first ensure they are unarmed, as the game restricts gathering while wielding a weapon. Simply find a snowy area, and you can harvest snowballs with a quick button press.
- PC: Press G
- PlayStation: Use the left button on the D-Pad
- Xbox: Tap the right button on the D-Pad
Each time you collect snowballs, you will receive three, which can be accessed via the weapon wheel. Be aware that snowballs will become your currently held item upon picking them up. You can contain a total of nine snowballs in your inventory, and there’s no limit to how many new ones you can create!
How to Throw Snowballs
Throwing snowballs is straightforward and follows the same mechanics as attacking with any other weapon. Simply aim at your target for a fun-filled snowfight. During the holiday season, most players set aside their weapons to join in a spirited snowball battle.
It’s crucial to remember that when you run out of snowballs, your character will default to punching when you attack. Make sure to collect more snowballs before your stock runs out to maintain the fun and avoid unnecessary brawling, which could spoil the festive atmosphere.
The joy of snowball fights extends beyond battling your friends; you can also aim at NPCs, cause cars to flee, and potentially attract unwelcome attention from the cops. Additionally, you can even knock other players off their bikes for added amusement, making every snowball a source of joy and chaos!
