Guide to Acquiring the Gold Sun Crow in Black Myth: Wukong

The Gold Sun Crow is a unique Curios found in Black Myth Wukong’s Chapter 4 – The Webbed Hollow. To acquire this rare Curios, players must navigate to the Purple Cloud Mountain, a secret area within Chapter 4. Unlocking the Purple Cloud Mountain entails more than just a simple journey, making the quest to find the Gold Sun Crow quite challenging.

Though the quest to secure the Gold Sun Crow may be demanding, the rewards are substantial. This Curios serves as a companion to the Jade Moon Rabbit and significantly enhances bonus damage inflicted on foes through Stance skills and Spells.

Where to Locate the Gold Sun Crow Curios in Black Myth Wukong

The Gold Sun Crow is located within the Purple Cloud Mountains section of Chapter 4 – The Webbed Hollow. Access to these mountains is granted only after completing the questline associated with the Venom Daoist. To start, find the Venom Daoist in The Webbed Hollow. After defeating the Second Sister, you will arrive at the core of the Webbed Hollow.

Continue your descent until you reach the Pool of Shattered Jade, where the Venom Daoist awaits. You must defeat him to advance his questline. Once you’ve triumphed over the Venom Daoist in the Pool of Shattered Jade, your next destination will be the Court of Illuminations.

Starting from the Court of Illuminations Keeper’s Shrine, proceed southeast until you find an empty, cave-like area. This location is where you will confront the Venom Daoist for the final battle. After reliably defeating the Venom Daoist, you will gain access to the Purple Cloud Mountain, home of the Gold Sun Crow Curios.

Upon entering Purple Cloud Mountain, head to the initial Keeper’s Shrine. From there, travel directly north until you arrive at a small cliff-like formation. To ascend the cliff, navigate to the platform on the left and ensure all nearby enemies are defeated.

From the platform, make your way to the small roof-like structure that connects to the cliff to reach the top. Subsequently, move a bit northeast to find a wooden chest containing the Gold Sun Crow. While the Gold Sun Crow can be equipped for its attack bonus advantage, it is most effective when used in conjunction with the Jade Moon Rabbit, amplifying its benefits.

It’s important to note that you can still acquire the Gold Sun Crow even after you have defeated the Duskveil in the Purple Cloud Mountains. Unlike the Daoist Mi questline, obtaining the Gold Sun Crow Curios does not rely on main story progression.
