In the enchanting world of Infinity Nikki, one essential resource for creating new outfits is the elusive Wormhole Whimstar. As you journey through Miraland, you will also encounter various other currencies, such as Bling, which can be acquired by completing mini-games, quests, and milestones involving your Pear Pal.
It is crucial to keep a sufficient amount of Bling in your inventory since it serves as the primary currency within Miraland. While Momo, Nikki’s loyal companion, can assist in your search for Whimstars, you may find it challenging to obtain certain types, particularly the wormhole Whimstars. Understanding how to locate and collect these stars will significantly enhance your gameplay experience.
How To Acquire Wormhole Whimstars
Where to Find Wormhole Whimstars
Your initial encounter with a wormhole Whimstar is likely during Chapter 3 of the main story quest, which involves the Stonewoods and Flight adventures. This chapter takes you to the Stonewoods region, located to the northwest of Breezy Meadow. Throughout the quest, you will be prompted to enter the Ripple Estate, where it is common to stumble upon a wormhole Whimstar situated near the Ripple Wine Cellar.
As you proceed, Momo will alert you to the presence of a nearby Whimstar. Look for some fencing that encircles soil beds before reaching the Ripple Wine Cellar district. However, it is prudent to remain vigilant for wormhole Whimstars scattered across other locales in Miraland.
Collecting Wormhole Whimstars
Getting Wormhole Whimstarts
When you approach a wormhole Whimstar, you will notice several wormholes, one of which will emit a distinctive purple glow. You might also spot a worm entering and emerging from these openings. Nearby, you will find at least two large crates adorned with hand symbols.
To successfully coax the worm out of the Whimstar hole, maneuver the boxes across at least two of the other wormholes while standing over a normal wormhole with Nikki. This will effectively trap the worm, allowing it to exit solely from the Whimstar wormhole. At this juncture, equip your bug-catching outfit and use your net to catch the worm, transforming it into a Whimstar.
Be cautious: if you capture the worm from a normal wormhole prior to setting the trap for the Whimstar wormhole, you will need to wait until the next day for the worm to respawn.
Whenever you encounter this type of Whimstar, ensure your bug-catching outfit is equipped beforehand. When Momo signals that a Whimstar is nearby, check for the distinctive box crates with the hand symbols, and keep an eye out for those wormholes in Infinity Nikki.
