Guide to Collecting Chests in Clash of Clans Treasure Hunt Event

Supercell launched a new Treasure Hunt event on September 9, 2024, allowing players to collect chests in Clash of Clans. This event, part of the September calendar, features exclusive items that were previously available only to Event Pass or Gold Pass holders. It’s important to note that while the event was originally scheduled for September 11, 2024, it was released early due to some technical issues.

In addition to the chests, Supercell also introduced Magic Snacks in the September update for Clash of Clans. These items can only be obtained by opening chests and are used to temporarily enhance army training speed or shorten building upgrade times. Be aware that these items will expire 24 hours after being obtained, so be sure to use them quickly.

How to Collect Chests in the Treasure Hunt Event

Players can engage in multiplayer attacks to loot chests from enemy bases. Three random buildings in opponents’ villages will be indicated as ‘housing a chest’. To find the treasure, players must destroy all marked buildings; one of them contains the chest. When a decoy is destroyed, a red cross will appear, while taking down a building that holds a chest will show a green tick.

During each reset time in the multiplayer raid section, players can acquire a total of three chests.

Chests are available in four types, categorized by rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Once a player collects a chest, they need to hit it four times, which can elevate its rarity level, leading to better rewards.

The probabilities of obtaining each type of chest in Clash of Clans are as follows:

Common chest: 58%
Rare chest: 32%
Epic chest: 8%
Legendary chest: 2%

Chest Rewards in Clash of Clans

The rewards from chests are determined by the player’s Town Hall level. For instance, a player at Town Hall 6 may receive between 80,000 – 160,000 Gold or Elixir, while those at Town Hall 16 can obtain millions of these resources.

The same applies to Builder Base rewards. The loot from chests will vary depending on the player’s Builder Hall level.

Common chest: Wall Rings, Power Potions, Magic Snacks.
Rare chest: Starry Ores, Books.
