The Mulan Realm is an exciting area in Disney Dreamlight Valley that introduces players to two iconic characters, Mulan and Mushu. You can unlock and play as both by engaging in the storyline and completing specific quests. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to finish the “A New Recruit”quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Successfully Complete the “A New Recruit”Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

1. Clean Up the Campsite

As soon as you enter the Mulan Realm, you will encounter Mushu. Approach him to receive the task of cleaning up the campsite, which is in disarray. Below are the cleanup tasks you need to accomplish:

Break 8 rocks
Dig up 12 rice spills
Correctly place the cauldron

Once you have completed these tasks, return to Mushu to proceed.

2. Locate the Uniform

Next, Mushu will assign you the task of finding a uniform, which includes a shirt, pants, shoes, and socks. Here are the locations where you can find each clothing item:

Shirt: Inside a tent near Mushu.
Pants: Hanging on a tree at the campsite entrance.
Socks: In a tent close to the cauldron you just fixed.
Shoes: On a rock to the left of the campsite, along the path to the lake.

After locating all four pieces of attire, equip them and go back to Mushu.

3. Prepare Breakfast for Mulan

Mushu will ask you to whip up some Congee for Mulan’s breakfast. Don’t worry, all the ingredients you need can be found on a table near the cauldron. Gather the following ingredients:

Ginger
Garlic
Mushroom
Wheat
Eggs

Go to the cauldron to start cooking the Congee. After it’s ready, ring the large Golden Bell to summon Mulan and inform her that breakfast is served. She will appear shortly afterward, and you can hand her the Congee to complete the quest.
