It is a vital way to earn Star Coins, restore stamina for exploration, advance in the storyline, and build friendships with various Disney characters.

Each dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley necessitates players to hunt for specific ingredients and mix them in a Cooking Pot to create their chosen meal. However, with an overwhelming variety of ingredients and the different methods to acquire them, cooking can become somewhat intricate.

The Cheese Platter is among the recipes where the necessary ingredients aren’t readily accessible, making its preparation a bit challenging.

How to Cook the Cheese Platter in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, recipes can call for anywhere between one to five unique ingredients. Luckily, for the Cheese Platter, you only need one ingredient: Cheese. After obtaining the Cheese, go to the Cooking Station in your home, place it in the cooking pot, and select “Start Cooking” .

The cooking process consumes one unit of Coal, and your Cheese Platter will be ready within moments.

Initially, you cannot buy Cheese when you start your adventure. Instead, you must unlock the Dreamlight Castle first and then embark on Remy’s friendship questline.

Once you complete the “A Restaurant Makeover” quest with Remy, you’ll gain access to the Chez Remy Restaurant, where Cheese is available for purchase at 180 Star Coins.

Unlocking the Dreamlight Castle

To unlock the Dreamlight Castle, you need to gather 2,000 Dreamlight. Navigate to the Dreamlight tab in the main menu to find various in-game tasks, such as cooking meals, collecting specific vegetation, and gifting, that reward you with Dreamlight upon completion.

Once you have collected the necessary Dreamlight, head to the castle and spend it to gain entry into the Dreamlight Castle.

If you’re visiting the Dreamlight Castle for the first time, Merlin will allow you to choose from the Wall-E, Moana, and Ratatouille Realms. Select the door with the Rat symbol to enter the Ratatouille realm and meet Remy.

If you have already unlocked any of the three realms, gaining access to Remy’s realm will require 3,000 Dreamlight.

Once you are inside Remy’s realm, speak to him to begin the “An Important Night at the Restaurant” quest. During this task, Remy will request you to cook specific dishes using the ingredients found in his kitchen. Simply follow his instructions to complete the quest and welcome Remy to Disney Dreamlight Valley.

After Remy arrives in the Valley, interact with him again to initiate the “A Restaurant Makeover” quest. In this quest, you will need to purchase a furniture kit from Scrooge McDuck’s shop for 2,000 Star Coins and provide Remy with 10 Oregano, 15 Carrots, 15 Raspberries, and 25 Wheat.

Once you give all the required items to Remy, you will unlock Chez Remy Restaurant, enabling you to purchase Cheese for 180 Star Coins.
