To unlock Smokeless Powder, you need to complete the associated research tasks within the MAM.

The MAM is among the first buildings you can unlock within the Field Research tab of the Tier 1 milestone. This milestone requires 300x Wire, 100x Iron Plate, and 300 Screws. Once achieved, it can be constructed using 5x Reinforced Iron Plate, 15x Cable, and 45x Wire.

Unlike the Hub, the MAM can be placed at any location, and you can have multiple MAM buildings active simultaneously. However, all MAM buildings share a unified progress tree, which means you cannot use multiple buildings to work on different research tasks at the same time.
