To complete the first task of the Illusionist Story Quests, simply toss five common items at Doomstadt. Common items can be recognized by their grey background.

Toss a common item five times by adding it to and removing it from your inventory. You can use the same item for the task and don’t need five different ones.

2) Hit an Opponent Within 10 Seconds of Exiting a Hiding Place (1)

The second quest requires you to hit an opponent within 10 seconds of exiting a hiding place. This can be easily accomplished by taking cover in a bush or a dumpster and attacking opponents immediately after.

Exit your hiding spot and hit an opponent within the ten-second timeframe to complete this quest. You can also complete this task at Doomstadt, where there are plenty of hiding spots, including bushes and dumpsters. Attacking the Doom NPC guards will also suffice.

3) Wake Up Brainwashed Characters or Eliminate Hired Followers (3)

The third task of the Illusionist Story Quests involves interacting with three brainwashed NPCs or eliminating followers hired by other players.

Waking up the brainwashed characters is a more straightforward approach. Simply locate and interact with the three NPCs – Peabody, Rust, and Brite Raider. Their locations are marked on your map.

Complete the fourth task by destroying five surveillance cameras at Doomstadt. Head over to Doomstadt to find and destroy these cameras.

Search for surveillance cameras scattered throughout Doomstadt, particularly in the main courtyard and around various corners. Use a weapon or pickaxe to hit five cameras and fulfill this mission.

The fifth task involves a direct battle with the nefarious NPC Mysterio. Simply head to Doomstadt and eliminate Mysterio to complete this mission.

Mysterio can be easily dispatched using rapid-firing weapons like the Dual Micro SMGs or powerful weapons such as the Sovereign Shotgun. Mysterio will summon several clones, but focus on taking down the main NPC for the completion of this task.

Defeating Mysterio will reward you with Mysterio’s Sovereign Shotgun and Mysterio’s Stealth Medallion, one of three new Medallions featured in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.

Spray at four different locations to complete this task. Successfully completing this mission will reward you with the Hopeful Llama Spray for in-game use.

7) Graffiti the Central Statue at Doomstadt (1)

The final quest of the Illusionist Story Quests requires you to graffiti the central statue at Doomstadt. After completing the previous task, locate the large Doom statue situated in the central courtyard of Doomstadt.

Stand in front of the statue, access your Emote wheel, and select the special Hopeful Llama Spray. Use it to deface the statue and finish all the Illusionist Story Quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4.

Completing all these tasks will earn you 140,000 XP.
