It’s completely free to acquire while exploring the game’s expansive open world.
Acquiring the Diamond Exoskeleton Suit in Stalker 2
Players can find the Diamond Exoskeleton suit in the Pripyat region, specifically in a building complex located behind the Strumok Milk Shop. To reach it, exit the Palace of Culture base and head south towards the shop. Navigating from there, you’ll enter the building complex that houses the coveted suit. Follow this step-by-step guide to secure your exoskeleton.
Step 1: Enter the Building Near Sunny Kindergarten
Begin your journey by following the path to the right of Strumok Milk Shop, which leads you toward an apartment complex. Continue straight until you pass the Sunny Kindergarten building on your right. Soon, you will find a staircase leading to an apartment entrance—this is your next destination, so gear up for potential combat.
Step 2: Defeat Monolith Soldiers to Claim the Exoskeleton
Once inside the apartment, get ready to face a group of Monolith soldiers guarding an emitter situated in the center of the room. Prioritize eliminating these foes before you seek out the Diamond Exoskeleton. After neutralizing the threat, approach the glowing emitter—behind it, you will discover the Diamond Exoskeleton suit leaning against a wall, accompanied by additional loot.
Be aware that the suit is quite heavy, which can limit your mobility depending on your current weight capacity. It’s advisable to wait before equipping it fully, as sprinting isn’t feasible until you upgrade the suit.
Step 3: Upgrade the Diamond Exoskeleton
Return to the Palace of Culture base and consult with Bolero, the technician responsible for suit modifications. You will have access to a variety of upgrades, but it’s crucial to start with the Sewn-On Pockets. This should be followed by enhancing the suit with the Hydraulic Amplifiers for Servos, which unlocks its sprinting capability.
Once upgraded, you have the option to further enhance the suit or simply take it for a test run. You’ll quickly notice a marked increase in your sprint speed, along with an elevated maximum weight capacity. Additionally, you can equip up to five artifacts to the Diamond Exoskeleton suit, further boosting its performance and your survivability in the harsh environment of Stalker 2.
