Nacon’s HELL is US reemerged during Sony’s latest State of Play event, featuring a new trailer that confirms its anticipated release in 2025. A wealth of new alpha gameplay footage is now available, with Jonathan Jacques-Belletete, the creative director and art director, providing insights into the game’s mechanics. Watch the trailer below.
HELL is US is set in a nation torn apart by civil war, a backdrop that gives rise to eerie creatures known as Hollow Walkers. While engaging a single Hollow Walker might be straightforward, confronting several of these beings—especially varying types—can prove to be quite formidable.
Among the most formidable foes are the Dual Entities, with even tougher enemies like Triple and Quadruple Entities lurking in the shadows. Players will eventually gain access to a sword, alongside other formidable weapons such as a halberd and dual hatchets. Additionally, players have a Drone at their disposal, which can distract enemies and facilitate tactical movement.
Combat constitutes half of the game experience; the other half is dedicated to exploration. As the character Remi, players will not receive any hints or waypoints, compelling them to meticulously examine their surroundings for clues that aid in solving intricate puzzles. Players will also have the opportunity to explore ancient dungeons, uncovering the rich history of the land.
HELL is US is set to launch in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
