In Season 2, various religious groups will face the consequences of returning figures once thought lost to hell. The inaugural season, which premiered in 2021, quickly garnered worldwide acclaim. It ranked as the No. 1 series in Netflix’s Best Horror Series category on Rotten Tomatoes. The Cast and Crew
In Season 2 of Hellbound, Kim Sung-cheol assumes the role of Jin-su, previously played by Yoo Ah-in. Kim Sung-cheol gained recognition for his role in the hit Netflix drama My Beloved Summer (2021), which enjoyed significant popularity.
The returning cast features Kim Hyun-joo as a lawyer opposing the Arrowhead group, Yang Ik-june as the detective investigating the angel of death cases, along with Kim Shin-rok, Lee Dong-hee, and Lee Re. New additions to the cast include Lim Seong-jae, Jo Dong-in, Moon Geun-young, and Hong Eui-joon.

Notably, Hellbound made history when its inaugural episode was showcased at the 46th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), marking it as the first Korean TV series ever presented at this prestigious festival. It was subsequently launched globally on Netflix on November 19, 2021.
Hellbound Season 2 will have its premiere at the 29th Busan International Film Festival, taking place from October 4 to 11. Following this, the series will be available for streaming on Netflix, beginning on October 25.
