‘He’s Lost in La La Land’: Donald Trump Dancing to Quirky Playlist Sparks Speculation About His Mental State

A recent town hall featuring Donald Trump in Pennsylvania took a bizarre turn, surpassing even the typical oddities associated with him. For those who haven’t been questioning the cognitive abilities of this presidential hopeful and convicted felon, now might be the time to start.

Moderated by Kristi L. Noem, the Republican Governor of South Dakota, the event became chaotic when two attendees suddenly required medical assistance. Trump responded to the situation by jokingly asking, “Would anyone else like to faint?” showcasing his lack of empathy toward others.

He then declared, as reported by the Washington Post, “Let’s forget the questions and just enjoy some music. Who wants to hear questions, right?” Well, perhaps the individuals attending a town hall event would. Nonetheless, Trump seemed indifferent to their preferences, proceeding to play music while merely swaying on stage. Noem, infamous for having shot a dog she disapproved of, went along with this unusual spectacle. It’s hard to envision a stranger moment within a presidential campaign.

The most shocking part? Trump chose to play “Time To Say Goodbye” by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman, seemingly oblivious to its implications while he swayed and made erratic hand gestures. Clips of this incident have quickly gone viral on X, leaving many viewers in disbelief.

Kamala Harris shared the video on her account, adding a simple comment, “Hope he’s okay.” She has previously commented on Trump’s mental health as the election approaches, labeling the former president as “unstable” and “unhinged” during her own event in Pennsylvania.

In case you’re curious about the other musical selections during this inappropriate display, the Washington Post notes that Trump played nine tracks in total: “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown; “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad O’Connor; “Ave Maria” by Pavarotti; the aforementioned “Time To Say Goodbye” ; “YMCA” by The Village People; “Hallelujah” by Rufus Wainwright; “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony; “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses; and “Memory” from Cats, a film often criticized as one of the worst ever made.

It’s notable that many of these artists are known for their opposition to Trump. The estates of both O’Connor and Pavarotti have urged him to cease using their music, along with The Village People and Andrew Lloyd Webber, the creator of Cats. Rufus Wainwright and Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses have also been prominent critics of Trump.
