In Honkai: Star Rail, Fugue is classified as a Nihility character. However, her gameplay leans more toward the Harmony Path. Much like Tingyun, she can provide a significant buff to an ally for three turns, enhancing their Break DMG potential.

In addition to her buffing capabilities, Fugue has a role to fulfill as a debuffer by reducing enemy DEF. Notably, her unique attribute is the application of additional Toughness on foes, which increases the frequency of Break DMG against them.

Top Relics for Fugue in Honkai: Star Rail

Best Fugue Relics

To optimize Fugue’s performance, prioritize attributes like SPD and Break Effect. Her debuff skills, particularly the DEF reduction, carry a 100% base success rate. Enhancing her Effect Hit Rate is crucial for applying debuffs effectively, especially against challenging enemies. Aiming for a 60-70% Effect Hit Rate via her Light Cone and sub-stats is sufficient.

Adopting a 4-piece Thief of Shooting Meteor set significantly boosts her Break Effect and provides additional Energy when breaking enemy Toughness. This setup complements her supportive role, as she regularly diminishes enemy Toughness through her Ultimate skill. Alternatively, using the 4-piece Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge set maximizes her damage when exploiting enemy Toughness, especially as it unlocks its full potential at a Break Effect of 250%, aligning with Fugue’s passive requirement of 220%.

For Planar Ornaments, the Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is ideal, enhancing both her SPD and Break Effect by 40%. As a support character, increasing her SPD is vital for a higher action frequency. Activating the secondary passive of Talia: Kingdom of Banditry also grants her an additional 36% Break Effect.

Opting for Sprightly Vonwacq can further elevate her SPD, ensuring she is the first to act in battles—a strategic advantage as this allows her to apply the Foxian Prayer state to an ally while entering her Torrid Scorch state.

Best Light Cones for Fugue in Honkai: Star Rail

Best Fugue Light Cones

The premier Light Cone for Fugue is Long Road Leads Home, which provides significant Break Effect and enhances her support functions, making her an invaluable asset during gameplay.

Other excellent options include Incessant Rain and Those Many Springs, both of which augment her Effect Hit Rate while aiding in enemy debuffs, enhancing her team’s damage output, especially given her AoE capabilities in both basic and ultimate attacks.

For 4-star Light Cones, consider Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, Before the Tutorial Mission Starts, or Fermata. The first option allows Fugue to further decrease enemy DEF with her attacks, while the latter helps increase her Effect Hit Rate and grants Energy when attacking DEF-reduced foes.

Lastly, Solitary Healing, a Free-to-Play 5-star Light Cone, is also a viable choice. It offers Break Effect, crucial for her role, despite its other effects being somewhat situational.
