Recent leaks have shed light on the mechanics surrounding Memosprites in Honkai: Star Rail. Specifically, the Memosprites summoned by Remembrance characters, including Aglaea and the Trailblazer’s companions, possess varying Speed Stats. This new feature will be launched with the game’s Version 3.0 update, which will also unveil two additional playable characters.
Insights into Speed Mechanics of the Remembrance Path
Honkai: Star Rail currently offers seven distinct playable Paths, each serving as a class system that defines a character’s combat abilities. For instance, characters belonging to the Preservation Path are adept at providing defensive shields, while those from the Erudition Path excel at targeting multiple foes.
HoYoverse has confirmed that the introduction of the Remembrance Path, set for Version 3.0, will add an exciting new dynamic to gameplay. During a special livestream for version 2.7, it was revealed that Remembrance characters can summon Memosprites, which act as auxiliary combatants with unique abilities. Recent leaks indicate these Memosprites will feature distinct stats that align with their summoner’s characteristics.
According to leaker HomDGCat, there are Memosprites with fixed Base Speed stats while others may inherit those from their summoner, influenced by each character’s kit. For instance, Aglaea may have her summons adopt her Base Speed, whereas the Trailblazer’s Memosprite appears to have a set speed. Furthermore, the observed differences in Speed buff levels will depend on how these buffs are acquired. Buffs gained outside of combat can be converted into speed adjustments for the Memosprite based on a specific ratio. In contrast, buffs earned during battles do not impact the Memosprites, as they only recognize self-applied buffs during the engagement.
While the Remembrance Path will become playable starting in 2025, its roots have been embedded within the game’s lore since inception. Fuli, an Aeon figure, is revered by followers of this path, particularly among a faction known as the Garden of Recollection, which includes characters like Black Swan and Mr. Reca. It’s worth noting that the primary storyline in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 may diverge towards exploring the enigmatic Titans and the Chrysos of Heirs instead of delving into the lore surrounding Aeon Fuli.
Although only Aglaea and the Trailblazer have been confirmed as playable characters for the Remembrance Path as of now, further additions are anticipated in future updates. Previous leaks hint at Version 3.2 banners introducing Castorise, a significant figure aligned with lore, as the first Quantum Remembrance unit. Additionally, Honkai: Star Rail has recently showcased two new 5-Star characters for Version 3.1: Mydei and Tribbie.
