How to Obtain the Secret Celebi Emblem in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Pokémon TCG Pocket offers an exciting array of secrets for dedicated players, including a variety of hidden emblems. While the primary goal is to gather all available cards, numerous cosmetic items enhance gameplay and collection setups in battles. Notably, a trading feature is set to debut this year, although specifics on its mechanics are still to be revealed.

Celebi has been introduced in the latest Mythical Island expansion, bringing along several items, including its exclusive ex card. This expansion is quite substantial, featuring 68 new standard and rare cards, along with emblems, coins, and play mats. Emblems can be purchased from various sections within the in-game shop, yet some remain hidden and can only be accessed by completing secret missions within the Mythical Island.

Players can embark on a variety of missions and themed collections within Pokémon TCG Pocket to receive rewarding items. Completing specific collections not only yields cards but also grants various items—from Pack Hourglasses to Wonder Hourglasses and emblems. You can find these missions under the Themed Collections tab located in the bottom right corner of the game interface.

Notably, some collections remain hidden and will only become available upon acquiring the requisite cards. This includes the elusive Celebi Emblem, which can be unlocked by completing the Tale of Adventure Themed Collection Mission.

To successfully finish this collection, players need to gather the following cards:

  • Mythical Slab (two-diamond rarity)
  • Budding Expeditioner (two-diamond rarity)
  • Mew ex (two-star rarity with rainbow border)
  • Celebrities from (immersively vary)

Once you’ve added these cards to your inventory—whether through packs, Wonder Picks, or Pack Points—you will unlock the secret Celebi emblem. It’s worth noting that alternative versions of Mew or Celebi will not contribute to fulfilling this secret mission.

This particular collection can present a challenge. While the Mythical Slab and Budding Expeditioner cards are relatively accessible, the Mew ex and Celebi ex cards are rare finds. A strategic approach is to specifically target these two cards within Wonder Picks when they are available. Although both rare cards can be purchased using Pack Points, each will cost 1,250 points, which could mean opening up to 250 packs to acquire just one.

Once you have succeeded in unlocking the Celebi emblem, equipping it is a straightforward process. Each player can showcase up to three emblems on their profile simultaneously, with options from various promotions and versus emblem events. Although the Celebi emblem is not essential for gameplay, its presence adds a notable flair to player profiles. Notably, the Celebi ex deck has emerged as a meta favorite within Pokémon TCG Pocket, benefiting from several Celebi ex cards available for constructing a formidable Grass-type deck.

To view the emblems of other players, simply check their profiles if you are connected as friends in the game. Player profiles are also visible after each match in versus battles.

To equip your newly acquired emblem, navigate to your profile by clicking your profile picture on the home screen of Pokémon TCG Pocket. In the emblems section, select any current emblem or available empty slot, allowing you to pick a new emblem from your unlocked options. There is no limit to which emblems you can select—only that at most three can be displayed at any one time.

While emblems are not critical for gameplay, they serve as appealing markers of your achievements, whether through battles won or cards collected. With just four cards needed to unlock the hidden Celebi emblem, players can take pride in this exclusive addition to their collection in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
