Prince Momoze

The Succession War has progressed at a deliberate pace, commencing with the Urn Ceremony and comprising fourteen princes. This ruthless conflict can only conclude with a sole survivor, resulting in the tragic demise of several princes, although alternative endings might exist.

The first of the fourteen princes to perish was Prince Momoze, the twelfth prince, daughter of King Nasubi and Queen Sevanti. Notably, Momoze possessed a unique Nen spirit beast resembling a mouse that would incessantly pester its victims until they affirmed their freedom. Following this acknowledgment, the beast would seize control and wreak havoc. Ultimately, despite her intriguing powers, Momoze was found suffocated in her chamber.

Next, the eighth prince Salé-Salé, often regarded as lackluster and unmotivated, faced a grim fate. His Nen spirit beast had the ability to charm others, rooted in his libidinous desires. However, his limited social interactions meant he rarely utilized this skill. Salé-Salé was eventually assassinated through a Nen technique termed Stand By Me.

Lastly, Prince Kacho, the tenth prince and twin sister to Fugetsu, fell victim to the war. Kacho demonstrated exceptional loyalty to her sister, ultimately sacrificing herself during their escape attempt from the Black Whale, a prohibited action amid the Succession War. Although Kacho perished, her spirit beast continues to exist by Fugetsu’s side, maintaining her presence in the narrative.

The Princes Who Might Die Next In The Succession War

More Casualties Expected in the Succession War

Prince Tubeppa
Prince Halkenburg
Prince Luzurus
Prince Benjamin

Prince Luzurus

  • The 7th Prince

At present, Prince Luzurus’s situation is precarious. As Fugetsu’s condition worsens, suspicions arise regarding Luzurus or his spirit beast being the cause. Consequently, Kacho’s beast, along with Melody and Kaiser, have set a plan into motion to eliminate him to safeguard Fugetsu. Their strategy mirrors Kacho’s demise, intending to lure him onto a lifeboat where he would die from drifting beyond the Succession War’s boundaries. They aim to disguise the incident as a drug overdose, a plausible cover given his known substance use.

Prince Halkenburg

  • The 9th Prince

Prince Halkenburg has emerged as a particularly intriguing figure in this arc. His intellect and formidable Nen ability, known as “The Boy Who Shoots the Arrow: Grimmel the Dissonance,” distinguish him. At this juncture in HxH, he has possessed the body of Balsamilco Might.

“To angle the shot at 26 degrees… I need to step 60 cm forward. The Boy Who Shoots The Arrow: Grimmel the Dissonance! Fire!!” — Halkenburg

Worio, a loyal ally of Halkenburg, has warned Kaiser of an impending fate for the prince. While the specifics are murky, it could denote the demise of Halkenburg’s original body, with his consciousness transferring elsewhere. The prince’s ultimate fate remains uncertain.

Prince Benjamin

  • The First Prince

Among the contenders in the Succession War, Prince Benjamin is regarded as a formidable opponent, equipped with substantial military prowess and a potent Nen ability. However, the loss of his brain, Balsamilco Might, has severely compromised his decision-making capabilities, potentially precipitating his downfall. This vulnerability may lead to his death or even possession by his younger brother Halkenburg, placing him in a precarious narrative position.

Prince Fugetsu

  • The Eleventh Prince

As the twin sister of the deceased Kacho, Fugetsu is presently unaware of her sister’s fate, thanks to the disguise provided by Kacho’s Nen spirit beast. Unfortunately, Fugetsu is currently in a fragile state. She has fallen prey to malevolent spirits convincing her of her ability’s limitless potential.

The condition is: the outgoing door shuts if Fuu-Chan enters it, and the return door shuts if I enter it.— Kacho (guardian spirit beast)

Possibly under the influence of drugs, Fugetsu’s condition raises alarm, with Melody and Kacho suggesting Luzurus as a possible antagonist. If Luzurus is dealt with yet Fugetsu continues to suffer, it would imply greater dangers at play.

Time is not on Fugetsu’s side; if the true source of her affliction is not identified, her life is at imminent risk.

Prince Tubeppa

  • The Fifth Prince

As the fifth overall prince, Tubeppa stands out for her intelligence rather than physical strength, making her an appealing target. She has allied herself with Prince Woble and Kurapika through a contract initiated by Longhi, ensuring mutual protection against harm. Still, the lurking threat predominantly comes from one of Benjamin’s henchmen.

Rihan, one of Benjamin’s formidable bodyguards responsible for Salé-Salé’s demise, can neutralize Nen abilities with his unique power known as Predator. He is closely monitoring Tubeppa and her spirit beast, and with sufficient intel, he might neutralize her capabilities to eliminate her. Fortunately, Kurapika’s aide could enhance her odds of survival.
