The 59-year-old captain described Dubaich’s behavior on the show as “disturbing,”suggesting that Ellie needs to work on understanding her self-worth and making necessary adjustments. Captain Sandy remarked that Dubaich’s recognition of her standing and her apology on WWHL were pivotal:
“Ellie needs to decide what she thinks about herself. And I think she did on WWHL, and I respect that.”

“You never know until you watch the show. Because when I walk in the room, everyone’s on their best behavior. Sometimes I choose not to walk in the room so I don’t wanna shift their mood.”
