Netflix’s hit social media competition series, The Circle, returned with episodes 5-8 on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. In episode 7, Heather, who was catfishing as Andy, was blocked from the chat and eliminated from the show.
Madelyn and Rachel, who acted as disruptors by switching profiles, needed to survive elimination to regain their original accounts. Consequently, they hatched a plan to target Andy, portraying him as disloyal. After Andy’s elimination, Madelyn deceitfully implied in the group chat that Andy had blamed Darian for his blocking.
Later, during a private chat with Kevin, she elaborated on this deception, claiming that Darian was looking to betray the “Circle Bros”alliance by collaborating with Jadejha and her allies. This manipulation led her to convince Kevin to strategize with her to backdoor Darian in the upcoming blocking.
“Let’s promise to keep each other at that number one ratings position and get as many people to put Darian last. #InThisTogether,”Kevin stated.
The Circle cast member came precariously close to eviction but managed to secure his position after being ranked in the penultimate spot. Andy, however, took the last place, ending his journey on the show. Recognizing his precarious standing, Kevin solidified his alliance with Madelyn to target Darian.

After Madelyn suggested that Andy held Darian accountable for his elimination, Kevin felt compelled to seek confirmation. He invited Madelyn for a private chat, eager to learn what Heather, posing as Andy, had conveyed. On the other hand, Madelyn felt uneasy about this discussion, aware that she had constructed a false narrative against Darian.
“I feel like Kevin wants to talk to me to gather more details about what Andy/Heather said. And I made it all up, so this should be interesting,”Madelyn noted.
Kevin quickly asked her who she was referencing in the Circle Chat regarding Andy’s elimination. After some contemplation, Madelyn knew she had to manage her fabrications. Despite playing a crucial role in Andy’s blocking, she kept this hidden from Kevin and most of the cast members.
Instead, she took advantage of the situation to focus on dismantling Darian and Jadejha’s alliance. She confessed that their strong connection could threaten their gameplay later on.
“Darian and Jadejha are too powerful. They have each other’s back too hard, and we need to split that up. It’s not personal, Darian. It’s really not,”Madelyn declared.
Kevin grew increasingly curious about Darian’s intentions after Madelyn confirmed she was talking about him in the group chat. She fabricated a story claiming Darian intended to undermine Kevin and Andy, aiming to sway Kevin to her side.
She disclosed that Darian planned to rank Kevin “towards the bottom to save his Circle wife [Jadejha] and her alliances.”Kevin was taken aback, labeling Darian as a “shady dude.”Madelyn further stated that Darian attempted to deflect blame onto her.
Kevin accepted Madelyn’s narrative and acknowledged that they needed to oust Darian. Satisfied with the direction their discussion was heading, Madelyn remarked:
“I’m a genuine person, but I do think we need to do a little damage control to ensure everyone knows I wasn’t just trying to stir the pot. We need to align our alliances with us. #InThisTogether.”
Madelyn realized she had Kevin convinced. To reinforce his trust, she promised to protect him from other potential threats in the game, closing their conversation with the hashtag “#ByeByeDarian.”
