Indiana Jones and the Great Circle takes players on a thrilling adventure to uncover the Seat of Eternity Mystery, situated in the expansive northern region of Gizeh. Before diving into this captivating puzzle, it’s essential to obtain the Gizeh map from Nuwal, which will aid in navigation throughout the largest open area explored by Indy. Completing such mysteries often yields valuable rewards, including currency, artifacts, and upgrade items.
Unlike Adventures, Mysteries are initiated by Indy when he stumbles upon puzzles or cryptic documents. Thus, engaging with Fieldwork and Mysteries is highly recommended before advancing too far into the primary storyline. However, initiating this mystery poses a challenge due to its secluded location. Players must first locate a mysterious sealed sarcophagus hidden away in an underground area.
How to Start the Seat of Eternity Mystery
Locate the Sealed Sarcophagus
To kick off your adventure, navigate northwest from the Sphinx Excavation site, nearing the Cloud Atlas Mystery, and head towards the train tracks. Look for a camp situated on a hill with three dogs, a telltale sign that you are close to your destination. Explore the hillside for square openings in the ground; one of these is the entrance to your next challenge.
Among these openings, you’ll notice one blocked by wooden planks, which cannot be accessed. Instead, choose the adjacent hole, but be careful not to jump straight down. Instead, descend onto a ledge halfway down to safely enter the underground chamber. Inside, you’ll discover a room featuring a sealed sarcophagus, four empty pedestals, and a mystery note, which will trigger the Seat of Eternity Mystery.
How to Solve the Seat of Eternity Mystery
Find the Canopic Jars
Now that the mystery is in motion, examine the room containing the sarcophagus for the Falcon Canopic Jar, the first necessary artifact to unlock the coffin. Position it on the middle-left pedestal before exiting the sarcophagus room and turning left. At the base of the adjacent hole, you will locate the Human Canopic Jar, along with a powerful two-handed weapon. Be sure to extract both items from the hole using your whip to climb out before placing the Human Canopic Jar on the far-left pedestal.
Each pedestal is adorned with an image representing its associated Canopic Jar, aiding in your quest. Next, retrace your steps to the sarcophagus room, retrieve the two-handed weapon, and look for a wall on your right, which can be demolished using this same weapon. Advancing along the newly revealed corridor will lead you to the Baboon Canopic Jar, which should be placed on the far-right pedestal.
Once you have positioned the third jar, return to the previous hole where you found the Human Canopic Jar. This time, swing across the opening to access a door on the left side. Inside, you will find the Jackal Canopic Jar, which must also be thrown back across the chasm.
With all four jars gathered, return to the sealed sarcophagus chamber. Add the final Jackal Canopic Jar to its pedestal and unlock the coffin. Inside, retrieve the Ancient Relic, subsequently progressing the Riddles of the Ancients quest, paralleling the Haunting Mystery of The Great Circle. Having successfully completed the Seat of Eternity Mystery, you can now emerge from the underground chamber to further explore the rich landscape of Gizeh in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
