Indiana Jones and the Great Circle marks a departure from the level design ethos seen in previous Wolfenstein titles, elevating the experience to a more exploratory format. Unlike the linear progression typical of Wolfenstein games, this new title encourages players to discover collectibles within its levels. The inaugural level presents a more confined environment with a total of ten collectibles. The following guide outlines their specific locations to assist players in their quest for completion.
When Can You Explore Marshall College?
Upon completing the introduction sequence, your first combat scenario in the museum, and an initial puzzle, you gain access to explore the campus of Marshall College. This environment hosts numerous hidden notes, precisely ten in total, waiting to be found in various rooms across the campus.
Key locations to investigate include the Janitor’s Closet, the Archaeology Classroom, Student Lounges, and Reception. Among these, two notes are story-related, leaving you with eight to uncover through diligent exploration.
How To Get Marshall College Map and the Faculty Card
After conquering the introductory puzzle, proceed towards the reception area by traversing through the Anthropology & Natural Science section. Once you reach the reception desk, grab the map displayed on the whiteboard. This map is instrumental for navigation, clearly labeling all college rooms, but do note that it does not qualify as a collectible note within the game.
Your first collectible note is conveniently located nearby. After acquiring the map, turn around to find the Faculty Card resting on the reception table.
How To Get the Blackshirts Article
One collectible note is hidden within the Janitor’s Closet, located on the first floor of the college. Utilize the map to navigate to this room and collect the note inside.
How To Get Strange Aeons #1 and the Baseball Card
To find the Strange Aeons #1 comic book, head to the Student Lounge situated on the second floor. Look for the comic laid on one of the tables in this area.
The Baseball Card can also be discovered on the second floor, positioned in the corridor between the Archaeology Classroom and Student Lounge. Check by the book trolley located at the end of the hallway to find the card on top of it.
How To Get All Archaeology Classroom Notes
The Archaeology Classroom on the second floor hosts three collectible notes. Refer to the newly acquired college map for directions and aim to collect the following:
- Cat Mummy Notes
- Bjorkman’s Letter
- Shirley’s Letter
For precise locations within the classroom, review the images above. Additionally, an Apple can be found, but it is important to note that this is not considered a collectible.
How To Get the Temple Map
To locate the Temple Map, visit the entrance room of Professor H. Jones’ office situated on the first floor. Search the front desk area next to the typewriter to find the map.
How To Get All Story-Related Notes
Giant’s Pendant
The first of the story-related notes can be found in the Student Lounge on the first floor, which is marked on your map. To acquire the Giant’s Pendant, you must right the fallen bookcase and climb on top to retrieve it. With this addition, you are just one note away from collecting everything in Marshall College.
Cat Mummy Photograph
The Cat Mummy Photograph represents the second and final story-related note for this chapter. After obtaining the pendant, return to Professor H. Jones’ office. Open the door, and as the cutscene unfolds, interact with the briefcase to unlock your journal. The Mummy Photograph will appear on the board before you.
After gathering the remaining essential items, you’re prepared to advance to Chapter 2: The Vatican.
