The quest known as Forced Perspective: Caged Bird in Infinity Nikki challenges players to capture a photograph of a “Caged Bird.”While the instructions provided in the game offer some guidance, they can sometimes leave players puzzled regarding the task’s exact requirements. This comprehensive guide aims to clarify the steps needed to successfully complete the Caged Bird quest.
Before diving into the quest, players are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the camera mechanics in Infinity Nikki, as the camera is a crucial tool for this challenge.
Infinity Nikki: Forced Perspective Caged Bird Solution
Upon starting the quest after speaking with Ginona, players should reposition themselves to gain a clearer view of the elevated deck where the non-player character (NPC) stands. This vantage point will reveal an empty cage on a table, accompanied by a vase with two bird balloons. These items are essential for successfully completing the quest, as players need to photograph the balloon as if it were inside the cage.
Next, players should remain positioned next to Ginona while accessing the camera through the Pear-Pal or Ability Wheel. They need to point the camera towards the empty cage and manipulate the angle until the bird balloons appear directly behind the cage. The correct angle is illustrated in the images below, and players will notice the camera’s viewfinder turning gold when everything is properly aligned.
Once the viewfinder shows gold, players just need to hit the Take Photo button displayed on the screen. Following this, they should return to Ginona and present their captured photo to complete the Forced Perspective quest in Infinity Nikki.
If Ginona happens to disappear before players can show their picture, they may use the game’s pass time feature to advance to daytime hours, ensuring they can still complete the quest smoothly.

Successfully finishing the Forced Perspective: Caged Bird quest rewards players with 10 Diamonds and three Upgrade Packs. For those new to the game, Diamonds can be exchanged for Crystals in the in-game shop, which are essential for acquiring items from Resonance banners. Meanwhile, Upgrade Packs serve to enhance the camera capabilities.
Additionally, players unlock the next quest, Forced Perspective: Capturing the Thief, following the completion of Caged Bird. This subsequent quest is located in Florawish. To focus on Capturing the Thief, players should track it through the random section of the Quest menu, leading them directly to Toran, the NPC pivotal to this challenge.
