Infinity Nikki Guide: Acquiring and Utilizing Pink Ribbon Eels

The long-awaited Shooting Star Season has arrived in Infinity Nikki, ushering in vibrant festivities within Florawish. Among the delightful events is the Lucky Fishing Day, which spotlights the pursuit of Pink Ribbon Eels. This seasonal event commenced with the update on December 30 and will continue until January 23, giving players ample opportunity to gather Diamonds before they disappear. With numerous activities designed to reward participants, free-to-play players and those looking to save can both benefit from participating in this engaging event.

To kick off your Lucky Fishing Day experience, navigate to the Events tab indicated by a confetti popper in the top-right corner. Look for the Lucky Journey section, which features six quests that can be completed for Diamonds. Head to the “Fun Encounters”menu and track the “Ribbon Eel Exchange”quest to connect with Mitchell at the Leisurely Anglers Fishing Club for additional insights into exchanging Pink Ribbon Eels.

Where To Catch Pink Ribbon Eels

Seek Pink Fishing Spots Around the Lake

Pink Ribbon Eels are found throughout the lake, indicated by pink bubbles and ripples near the fish. Mitchell highlights that these eels tend to be more abundant in the deeper sections of Silken Lake, though accessing those areas may prove challenging. Keep in mind that fishing for Pink Ribbon Eels can only be done at night. Utilize the “Run, Pear Pal”app to advance time to your advantage and begin your fishing expedition.

To access prime fishing spots, speak with the Croaker Boatman stationed north of the Leisurely Anglers Club. He offers rides on a lotus leaf boat, enabling you to navigate to the deeper parts of the lake where Pink Ribbon Eels are more plentiful. Once you catch one, the fishing mechanics are straightforward, making it easy to reel them in.

Like other resources in Infinity Nikki, fish respawn once every 24 hours, so maximize your catches of Pink Ribbon Eels before the daily reset. Although Pink Ribbon Eels may pose a slight challenge, the fishing system is forgiving, allowing you to enjoy the experience without severe penalties. A pink hue on the fish icon at the top of the screen indicates a successful catch of a Pink Ribbon Eel. After securing multiple eels, return to Mitchell at the Leisurely Anglers Club to exchange them for rewards.

How To Turn In Pink Ribbon Eels

Fulfill the Weight Requirement for Rewards

Upon returning to Mitchell, you will be prompted with, “Are you sure you’re ready to exchange the [x]kg Pink Ribbon Eel for surprise gifts?”The required amount will vary, so it’s essential to pay attention during each exchange. If you agree to the trade, Mitchell will accept your Pink Ribbon Eel and reward you with a special gift, which also varies.

In my experience, I was initially required to exchange 2kg of Pink Ribbon Eels for 100 Diamonds. Subsequent exchanges asked for 3kg and rewarded me with the Only The Willing title and 55,000 Bling. The best part is that there is no limit on the number of exchanges you can make during the event, so even if Diamonds are not the product each time, it provides a fantastic opportunity to accumulate both Diamonds and Bling.

Diamonds are particularly valuable, as they serve as the easiest way to obtain Resonance Crystals, which remain accessible beyond the event duration. Given that Pink Ribbon Eels can be traded in without limit, it’s prudent to catch as many as possible each evening throughout the event. This becomes essential, especially with the new Ability Outfit banner, which is temporally restricted; stockpiling Diamonds will aid in acquiring enhanced gliding capabilities.

While pursuing Pink Ribbon Eels, don’t forget to check off various quests and activities associated with the Shooting Star Season. Numerous quests reward 30–40 Diamonds, alongside other prizes like Shiny Bubbles, Bling, and crafting materials for outfit upgrades. This limited-time event is an excellent opportunity to stock up on necessary resources, so make the most of your time within Infinity Nikki.
