Infinity Nikki Guide: Mastering the Astral Swan Quest for Starry Sky Exploration

The side quest “Soaring Above The Starry Sky”found in Infinity Nikki may appear straightforward initially. However, a particular aspect at its conclusion can prove to be challenging. Before embarking on this quest, players must first complete “Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted,”which is the fourth main storyline quest within the Abandoned District and serves as the final quest of Chapter Four.

Upon finishing “Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted,”the quest “Soaring Above The Starry Sky”will automatically unlock. By this stage, players should be accustomed to repairing the various Skypass venues and flowers throughout the Abandoned District. The task at hand is just a short flight away. The quest can be initiated from two different locations, but conversing with Elron in Stoneville provides a comprehensive view of what needs to be done.

Talk to Elron, Then Pinny in the Abandoned District

Interestingly, you can initiate the quest by interacting with either Elron in Stoneville or Pinny located in the Abandoned District. Regardless of your choice, returning to Stoneville is advisable to kick off the quest effectively. Elron will express a wish to deliver a package to a Piecey named Pinny located in the Abandoned District and will seek Nikki’s assistance in this endeavor. To reach Pinny, employ the recently unlocked Mirth Market Skypass or the Stellar Fishing Ground Warp Spire.

After arriving, Pinny will guide you to another Piecey, Lensie, who has a heartfelt request to see an Astral Swan fly before his time runs out. You can locate Lensie to the west of Pinny’s position, specifically at the bottom of a nearby Stonetree’s ruins. Pinny suggests that the best course of action to fulfill Lensie’s wish is to groom the Astral Swan prior to flying with it. You will then need to return to the Stellar Fishing Ground Warp Spire to find the Astral Swan.

Upon warping to the Stellar Fishing Ground, locating the Astral Swan should be a straightforward process. Head southwest toward Crescent Pond, where you will witness the Astral Swan in flight and, shortly thereafter, landing nearby in a cutscene. Approach it wearing your Animal Grooming outfit to groom the majestic creature, which will reward you with one Astral Feather crafting material.

After grooming the Swan, make your way to the edge of the cliff to trigger a special event. This segment is particularly delicate; if you make an error here, you’ll need to restart the entire event sequence. Approach the Swan and remember to switch to your Floral Gliding Outfit while keeping your feet on the ground.

The Floral Gliding outfit is part of the diverse Ability Outfits that Nikki can utilize during her adventures in Miraland. Normally, this outfit can only be deployed in Skypass situations or when propelled into the air by an updraft. As a result, it may not be apparent that this is the necessary action to take here. When in position, activate the Ability Outfit button (right-click on PC) while still grounded next to the Astral Swan to initiate the gliding sequence.

As you glide, stay sharp for dialogue triggers. Missing one could derail the sequence, necessitating a restart. Focus intently during your flight and press the “soar”button as prompted on-screen to keep the sequence flowing smoothly. Avoid excessive steering; otherwise, you may veer out of bounds, disrupting the conversation flow. A gliding stamina bar appearing next to Nikki indicates that you’ve drifted too far from the intended path.

Once you have successfully completed the flight, return to Pinny on the Stellar Fishing Ground Trail. She will, with a heavy heart, inform you that Lensie has passed away. Afterwards, she will instruct you to return to Stoneville to convey the news to Elron. Head over to the Dye Workshop Stonetree Warp Spire to locate him again.
