The makeup system is divided into several categories, such as Base Makeup, Eyelashes, Eyebrows, Lenses, and Lips. In Infinity Nikki, players typically cannot purchase makeup directly from in-game shops, nor is it commonly awarded for quest completions. Instead, makeup items are obtainable through the Deep Echoes banners, which players can access while participating in Resonance attempts. These banners offer a variety of exclusive makeup rewards, including those housed in the Flowing Spectrum. When players open these reward boxes, they get to select the specific makeup item they’d like to receive.

Notably, many five-star outfits are paired with five corresponding makeup items. Acquiring these makeup items might seem daunting at first, necessitating players to engage in at least 240 pulls from the banners to collect every available makeup item. To streamline this process, players are encouraged to start gathering Diamonds, Revelation Crystals, and Resonite early in their gameplay to facilitate quicker pulls under the banners.
