In Infinity Nikki, the art of assembling outfits combines skill akin to that of a top stylist with the exploration of Miraland’s diverse ecosystems. Throughout your adventure across the game’s various regions, you’ll encounter a plethora of flora and fauna that provide essential crafting materials for Nikki’s unique wardrobe. This intricate outfit creation system has significantly contributed to the game’s immense popularity since its launch in early December 2024, captivating millions of players who marvel at its detail.
One notable crafting item you will come across in your journey is Suspenders Fluff. This fluffy material is sourced from a rather whimsical animal and can be challenging to track down without the right knowledge.
How to Acquire Suspenders Fluff in Infinity Nikki
Infinity Nikki boasts an assortment of fluffy crafting items sourced from charming creatures, including adorable Blushbunnies in Breezy Meadows and the marvelous Wreathdoes in Wishing Woods. To specifically gather Suspenders Fluff, your adventure will lead you to the Stoneville region, accessible starting in Chapter 3 of the main storyline. As you navigate this vibrant town and its eye-catching Lavenfringe fields, keep an eye out for a unique creature resembling a large weasel, which is the source of this coveted fluff.
Grooming the Suspenders Weasel
The creature you seek is known as the Suspenders Weasel. Like many furry denizens in Infinity Nikki, you can collect their Suspenders Fluff using the Bye-Bye Dust (Animal Grooming) Ability Outfit. To successfully gather the fluff, equip this ability, approach the weasel slowly, and ensure you don’t startle it into fleeing. When a small blue brush icon appears above its head, release your ability button to activate a cutscene that allows you to collect the fluff. This fluff is relatively common, especially in comparison to rarer crafting materials such as Dawn Fluff.
From each Suspenders Weasel, you will receive 1 x Suspenders Fluff along with a minor boost to your Animal Grooming Insight. To further enhance your Animal Grooming capabilities, you can increase your stats on the Heart of Infinity Grid once you meet specific thresholds. This optimization will in turn amplify your Insight gains per item harvested. For an expedited gathering process, utilize a Warp Spire to access the Realm of Nourishment, where you can expend your Vital Energy to quickly boost your Insight points across all five categories.
Although you can also find Suspenders Weasels in the subsequent Abandoned District, Stoneville is generally easier for gathering this fluff due to its structure and layout. Once you’ve gathered Suspenders Fluff at least once, you can then identify its sources using the Map feature.
To track more of it, simply open your Map and click the booklet icon located at the bottom left corner. Navigate to the Collections section, click on the pawprint icon, and locate the Suspenders Fluff entry. By clicking the ‘Track’ button, your map will highlight nearby sources of Suspenders Fluff with a yellow circle. Additionally, gathering 30 Suspenders Fluffs will unlock Precise Tracking, showing the exact locations of available Suspenders Weasels instead of just general areas. Various known locations of these creatures are marked in the accompanying gallery above.
Purchasing Suspenders Fluff with Surging Ebb
Although local merchants in Infinity Nikki do not stock Suspenders Fluff, players in urgent need of additional supplies for crafting essential outfits might consider purchasing it via the in-game store. Access the store and navigate to the Resonance tab on the left side, where you can view which items are available for purchase with either Surging Ebb or Tranquility Droplets. Note that Suspenders Fluff can only be purchased using Surging Ebb.
Surging Ebb is earned specifically from rolling a duplicate 5-Star item using Revelation crystals, unlike other currencies, such as Bling or Stellarite crystals, which are not applicable for this transaction. Therefore, while this purchasing option exists, acquiring Surging Ebb can be quite challenging, making this method less advisable for most players.
