“Inspiring Leadership” — Fans Commend Lisa for Exemplary Management at LLOUD and Her Family-Like Treatment of Employees

On September 18, 2024, Vogue KOREA featured an enlightening interview with BLACKPINK rapper Lalisa Manobal, popularly known as Lisa. The Thai artist established her independent venture, LLOUD, on February 7, 2024, and in May, she entered into a partnership with the renowned American record label, RCA Records.

As part of this collaboration, Lisa debuted her highly anticipated solo singles, ROCKSTAR and NEW WOMAN (featuring Rosalía), on June 28 and August 15, respectively. The interview explored her remarkable journey, revealing how she has effortlessly balanced various roles, including music career, fashion icon, and company CEO. When asked about her leadership role and how she aims to guide her company to success, Lisa shared:

“I’ve never thought about that. Because we’re not alone, we’re together. Oh, the word boss is so awkward! Since I still don’t have much experience leading a team, I listen to the opinions of my coworkers as if they were family or friends. We’re having fun moving forward together.”

Her heartfelt response resonated with fans, who took to X to commend the ROCKSTAR rapper for her exemplary leadership style and her approach to treating her team as equals.

“Now that’s a real LEADER because instead of giving orders she led them by working it together. Lovely.”

Many supporters praised her for being a commendable leader and collaborating with “trustworthy people.”

“Lisa looks like a lady boss in that suit. Her company name LLOUD is so fitting for her vision. I love how she treats everyone like family,”one fan stated.

“I love the bond she has with her staff, and I’m glad she’s working with hopefully trustworthy people,”another fan said.

“Yes, now you have your own company, and of course, you’re an outstanding lady boss for sure,”another fan added.

Additionally, fans noted that the BLACKPINK rapper has been acquiring invaluable experience since launching her company.

“My democratic leader Lalisa Manobal everyone. No wonder she succeeded in life. She treats everyone equally,”one fan said.

“She is a boss who is a LEADER. A lot of bosses don’t know how to lead. She is still learning, and so far I can see she’s on the right path. It’s not perfect yet, but as she gains more experience and learns what works and what doesn’t, she’ll grow to be even greater and more successful,”another fan added.

“All of she said makes me admire her even more again and again,”another fan lauded the rapper.

Lisa Opens Up About Challenges in Expressing Her Thoughts

As the CEO of LLOUD, Lisa discussed how starting her own company transformed her approach to communication. She revealed that previously, she struggled to express her opinions due to a fear of causing discomfort.

“In the past, it was difficult for me to express my feelings clearly. I was afraid that I would make the other person uncomfortable by saying things unnecessarily. But then, no one was satisfied with the result. The other person could feel frustrated because they didn’t know what I wanted. So I realized that I had to clearly convey my opinion to get great results. They are all professionals.”

In an exciting milestone, the Thai rapper became the first K-pop soloist to perform her hits ROCKSTAR and NEW WOMAN live at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12. Additionally, she made history as the first female K-pop solo artist to win the Best K-pop award.

Looking ahead, Lisa is set to launch her full-length debut solo album by the end of 2024. In her conversation with Vogue, she teased that her album will feature “outside-the-box”concepts, signifying her intent to challenge stereotypes and experiment with various styles.
