Beyond its anime series, DanMachi has expanded into multiple manga adaptations, several video games, and a spin-off novel series titled Sword Oratoria, which itself inspired an anime adaptation in 2017, all of which were also licensed in the U.S. by Sentai Filmworks. Additionally, a variety of mobile and console games have been created based on the franchise.

Plot Overview

The narrative unfolds in the city of Orario, where several gods have descended to live among humans, willingly limiting their divine powers to engage in earthly pleasures. These gods form their own guilds, known as Familias, to recruit adventurers who delve into dungeons filled with monsters and treasures. Central to the story is Bell Cranel, who becomes the only member of goddess Hestia’s Familia. His aspiration is to become as powerful as Ais Wallenstein, a renowned swordswoman who once saved him, though he finds himself unintentionally attracting the affections of several women, including Hestia.
