Since then, the Insidious series has continued its strong box office performance. The subsequent installment, Insidious: The Last Key (2018), picked up after Insidious 3 while continuing to explore Elise’s storyline. The latest entry, Insidious: The Red Door (2023), marked a milestone as Patrick Wilson made his directorial debut and returned to the Lambert family saga. The film grossed over $189 million globally, making it the highest-grossing film in the franchise according to Box Office Mojo.
