The latest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County (season 18) has delved into the intricate personal challenges and relationship dilemmas faced by its cast members. This season features familiar faces, including Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and newcomer Katie Ginella. Viewers will also see guest appearances by Alexis Bellino, Sutton Stracke, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, and Vicki Gunvalson.
As noted in Jennifer’s official Bravo biography, she is grappling with relationship troubles concerning her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, while also striving to conclude her divorce and effectively co-parent her children with her ex-husband. This task proves to be quite challenging.
In an interview with BravoTV.com, Jennifer expressed her frustrations over the lack of effective co-parenting with her ex-husband, William “Will” Pedranti. She voiced her desire to improve their communication, stating:
“Co-parenting with my ex is non-existent. It’s truly non-existent, and I’m never going to stop trying to change that.”
Jennifer Pedranti Discusses Her Relationship with William on The Real Housewives of Orange County
Jennifer elaborated that she maintains a cordial relationship with William’s new girlfriend, whom she described as a “great girl.”Interestingly, this new partner is a former friend and interior designer of Jennifer’s. Despite their complicated past, Jennifer acknowledges that the four of them have struggled to find common ground.
Jennifer and William share five children: 20-year-old Harrison, 17-year-old Dawson, 14-year-old Greyson, 12-year-old Everleigh, and 10-year-old Dominic. She hopes for a harmonious relationship between her ex-husband and fiancé, Ryan.
Reflecting on her ex-husband’s new relationship, Jennifer pointed out that their lifestyle choices starkly contrast with her own. She characterized them as “religious”and “very private,”highlighting how their values do not align with her more open approach to life.
Pedranti emphasized the need for collaborative co-parenting, urging all involved to set aside personal differences for the sake of their children. She voiced her frustrations:
“For me, it’s so frustrating. Why [are] the four of us, who have nine children between us, not doing a better job being co-parents? But they live very private lives, they’re very religious. They don’t align with my new life.”
Jennifer clarified that while there is no animosity between her fiancé Ryan and William, she and Ryan are feeling some underlying “frustration.”She elaborated:
“Ryan and Will, [there’s] nothing [between them]. And I have to say Ryan has picked up way more slack than he should’ve, and so there’s frustration for Ryan.”
During one episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18, Jennifer had a thought-provoking discussion with her son Dawson about personal boundaries. Dawson expressed that he felt a closer bond with William, attributing this to Jennifer’s tendency to be overly involved, which sometimes made him feel suffocated. He stated:
“So I feel like it would be better to go somewhere where it is. I do feel like I am closer to dad. I feel like if I could, I would like to be closer with you.”
The upcoming episodes promise to shed more light on Jennifer’s relationship with her children.
