Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 7 Episode 19 Recap – Sammi’s IVF Journey and the Clash Between Mike and Angelina

The latest episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 7 aired on Thursday, September 19, 2024, continuing the adventures of the beloved cast. The party-mates reunited to delve into personal relationships and face life challenges. While some engaged in self-discovery, others dealt with inner conflicts.

In this episode, the cast geared up for the highly anticipated meatball competition. Sammi opened up about her journey with IVF and her diagnosis of endometriosis, expressing her desire to start a family with Justin. Meanwhile, Snooki took a step to learn more about her roots by purchasing a DNA test in hopes of locating her biological siblings.

Angelina confronted her tumultuous relationship with Vinny 2.0, while also facing Mike’s anger for having ghosted him for several months. Mike publicly expressed his feelings during the meatball competition, referring to Angelina as “satan”after she was not invited to his daughter’s birthday celebration. In a parallel storyline, Vinny revealed his struggles with anxiety and his decision to seek therapy.

The episode kicked off with Sammi discussing her IVF treatments with her partner, Justin. She expressed her wish to not delay starting a family while contemplating marriage, also revealing the difficulties she faced due to her endometriosis diagnosis, which could hinder her chances of pregnancy.

“My biggest fear is not being able to get pregnant one day,”Sammi admitted.

Sammi shared that she had kept her struggles private to avoid raising her hopes and possibly facing disappointment. With Justin’s support, she has been managing hormone treatments, despite the exhausting toll they take on her.

Throughout the episode, Sammi described experiencing “headaches, hot flashes, mood swings, and depression”due to the hormone shots, leading to concerns about her ability to conceive.

In a different segment, Angelina discussed her “rollercoaster”relationship with Vinny 2.0, who had chosen to spend prolonged periods away from home, contributing to his nomadic lifestyle.

“He’s always gone,”Angelina noted.

Despite her desire to build a family with Vinny 2.0 in their future home, Angelina expressed frustration over her unfulfilled dreams.

Other cast members also opened up about their problems. Vinny discussed living with his anxiety disorder with Mike, admitting that although he tried to manage it, it was significantly disruptive. This led him to begin therapy.

Mike expressed his hurt over Angelina’s lack of communication, feeling that his efforts to maintain their friendship weren’t reciprocated.

“I put the effort in to be your friend, and I just want that to be reciprocated. She just ghosts everybody for like six months. I’m sick of it,”Mike vented.

As a result of Angelina’s actions, Mike did not invite her to his daughter Mia Bella’s birthday party, which he later discussed with the female cast members. He noted that Angelina had blocked him on social media and expressed hope that she could find her way back to normalcy.

Angelina felt hurt when she discovered she hadn’t been invited, expressing that it felt like a “slap in the face.”Despite her messages to Mike expressing her feelings, he maintained that relationships require effort from both parties and described Angelina’s presence as one dominated by “chaos.”

In another segment, Pauly shared his plan to send something significant to the meatball competition, as he wouldn’t be attending in person, while preparing food alongside his long-term girlfriend, Nikki.

Meanwhile, Snooki, who was adopted, explored the idea of her DNA test to find her biological siblings, inspired by Angelina’s experience searching for her father. Snooki expressed curiosity about whether her biological family had watched her on the show.

Tensions escalated during the meatball competition when Angelina and Sammi confronted each other. However, in a bid to ease past tensions, Sammi extended a hug to Angelina. Mike’s entrance stirred things up further, as he indicated he was ready to address unresolved issues, infamously referring to Angelina as “satan,”which took her by surprise.
