Viral sensation and singer Jhonni Blaze is making headlines following a viral video that emerged on September 21, 2024. This clip came shortly after her former friend leaked alleged conversations between her and the renowned rapper Drake, which were picked up by The Shade Room. The leaked messages reportedly included discussions between Blaze and Drake about rapper Big Boogie.
Jhonni Blaze, recognized for hit singles like Pressure and Booster Shot, starred in the video lasting approximately 44 seconds, where she expressed:
“How would you feel if you were supposed to be friends with somebody and you find out that your friend has been bashing and talking so bad about you for seven years.”
She also shared her distress regarding the invasion of privacy, especially when personal information like bank statements is accessed through another’s phone, stating:
“How would you feel, what would you do, and you find out the person who did this to you and they send you flowers to your house. I’m just curious to know what somebody would do if you find out that somebody was bashing you like that.”
Additionally, an audio message allegedly featuring Drake surfaced, in which he seemingly acknowledged Blaze, saying:
“I really don’t feel good in my heart watching you text me and then like knowing that I’m seeing it, sometimes, not all the time. I mean, sometimes I am seeing it and I’m like damn, I don’t know what to say to her.”
Meanwhile, social media users flocked to the comments section of The Shade Room’s Instagram post featuring the leaked messages, sharing mixed reactions. Some were curious about the circumstances of the leaks, while others critiqued Drake’s tone in the recording, suggesting he channel it elsewhere.
Though Drake has yet to respond to the leaked messages, he and Blaze have a tumultuous history. In 2014, Blaze claimed that she and Drake had an intimate relationship and alleged he threatened her silence, as reported by TMZ. However, Blaze denied these allegations during an interview on the Madd Hatta Morning Show, insisting:
“I would never talk about nobody and I don’t have nothing bad to say about Drake.”
